Word is spreading about the Young Women's Project! We would like to thank our supporters at the blackyouthproject.com blog for writing about the work that the Foster Care Campaign and Peer Health and Sexuality Education teens are doing. They are just as impressed with the teen staff's accomplishments as we are, and their "serious strides in improving their city and their position in the city".
Much like the Young Women's Project works to give voice and action to the lives of teen women, the Black Youth Project works to do the same for African American youth ages 15 to 25. It began in 2003 works to examine their "attitudes, resources, and culture," and "how these factors and others influence their decision-making, norms, and behavior in critical domains such as sex, health, and politics." We're proud to have have such allies and wish them the best in their work!
