Youth Back to School: YWP Gears Up

Can't believe it's September. The summer session has ended and YWP is gearing up for a great fall. The office is definitely quiet without the youth around but we are continuing to work hard on much of the work we started this summer.

Foster Care Campaign Presents!

Please join us--on August 14th--for The Life Untold: Older Foster Youth Examining their Lives through Education, Permanency and Safety Net services. Both a play and a presentation, the event will illuminate older youths' needs within these three topics, while offering solutions for these complex problems. Afterwards, we will have time to talk with one another over light snacks and  refreshments.

When: 4:00 - 6:30, Friday the 14th.

Thank You

The Foster Care Campaign Team thanks all those who participated in our email campaign. Transitioning Foster Youth--their needs, their current services, and their solutions--are now at the forefront of many DC City Council Members minds. This is a huge feat and we couldn't have done it without you. Thank you so much!

Sincerely,

The Foster Care Campaign Team

Youth Speak Out
